PT AIA Financial (AIA), posted premium income of IDR 13.61 trillion (unaudited) in the fourth quarter of 2021, an increase compared to 2020 premium income of IDR 13.59 trillion with a solvency ratio of up to 645 percent (unaudited) far exceeding the government regulation of 120 percent.
This shows the level of AIA’s ability to meet its long-term obligations including paying claims and the Sum Assured of customers.
President Director of AIA, Sainthan Satyamoorthy said, the achievement of a healthy company performance is the hard work of the entire team at AIA and the trust of customers and partners.

AIA also proved its commitment to protecting customers by paying total claims and benefits throughout 2021 which reached IDR 11.5 trillion (unaudited) for insurance benefits including unit links throughout 2021, an increase of 32 percent from the total claims paid in 2020 of IDR 8, 7 trillion.
Meanwhile, AIA also continued to generate operating profit of Rp 1 trillion (unaudited), an increase compared to 2020. On the Balance Sheet, AIA’s assets in the fourth quarter of 2021 were at the same level as last year, which was Rp 53 trillion.
As part of the company’s commitment in the midst of the pandemic, AIA has also responsively launched various relevant product and service innovations to assist customers who need treatment and protection from the Covid-19 virus.
